LATIN DELICIA ™ was established in November 2019, mainly for wholesale and retail of high-quality Latin-European food imported from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, etc. At first, only 5 types of food products were imported for sale mainly on social media and the sales boosted with good online reviews and recommendations from friends and customers. Up to now, the company has imported more than 40 types of high-quality specialty ingredients to Hong Kong. The products are available at the main store located in Chai Wan, Hong Kong and some retail shops collaborating with LATIN DELICIA ™.

 

Signature products include：100% Anchovies sauce (known as Hermès grade), White Tuna Filets , Mediterranean Sea Fish Fumet , Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil ,Organic Jam and Organic Heather Honey.

 

The founder of LATIN DELICIA ™ has been dedicated herself in finding top quality food ingredients for Hong Kong’s gourmets, hoping that her company will become Hong Kong's El Corte Ingle’s (a famous luxury department store in Spain). To make sure that the food items she imports is value for money, she insisted on traveling to Europe to source quality products and strike good deals with local food manufacturers. Products of the food suppliers selected by her are produced by family-run food factories with long history and outstanding track record. Their food products are naturally grown without using chemical fertilizers. The EU food safety certification proves that the production, transportation and storage of food are strictly monitored.

 

The Founder’s good cooking skills of Latin-European cuisine and 20 years of culinary knowledge is of great help to her food sourcing. To ensure the good quality of her food items, she always visits the imported countries to inspect the production environment. For example, the founder chooses to use agave honey instead of sugar in the production of organic jam, which is healthier and with longer shelf life. The founder has even thoughtfully designed many easy-to-cook recipes for her customers, teaching them how to easily integrate Latin-European ingredients into Chinese cuisine, such as sea cucumber stewed with Spanish fish fumet, which is very popular among housewives. LATIN DELICIA ™’s fish fumet is essence extracted from a large amount of seafood, with a strong umami taste but no fishy smell. It is particularly good for postpartum mothers.
